Beat the Mets, beat the Mets, Last place teams defeat the Mets. Hanging sliders, minor-league speed, Guaranteed to waste a seven run lead.
Because the Met bullpen keeps fading away, October baseball won't be at Shea.
Mota...Sosa..., Every game is now in doubt. Can anyone who's on this staff, Get three men out?

They're a bad team after all,
They're a bad team after all,
They can't make the hits and they can't catch the ball,
They're a bad team after all!

I thought you were. It reads more like wistful and bittersweet than "neener neener."
Believe me, after last year in Cleveland, I think I understand...at least a bit.

Ya know, it's easy to blame the bullpen. But when you ask everyone in it to pitch an inning every game, you get what you deserve.

Yup. The bullpen is too old and tired.

To: LdSentinal
They're only a few months older than they were befor the All-Star break.

Mets Unveil New Theme Song Before I looked, I figured it would be Philadelphia Freedom by Elton John.

    Actually, I can empathize.
 I'm a Houston fan.
 All of the pro teams.
And they've all done stuff like this.
 Repeatedly.

Every game is now in doubt. Actually, these days there's no doubt about the outcome of every Mets' game.
