Why is this a reason to abandon Vista, if the alternative is either Mac or Linux?

Vista’s running just fine in our office environment. XP’s still the choice for older boxes, though.

I do IT work for a couple of companies that are Mac-oriented and believe me, the ‘invulnerable Mac’ myth is just that.

mac os and linux are both stable.

windows fled stability in the 1990’s,

resulting in a fix-or-repair-daily software,

which created millions of jobs for techies.
