Coach Gundy is upset after the win over Texas Tech. The only comments after the game are about what was in a newspaper about one of his quaterbacks.
It is insane to be attacking the team that won. By the way, Texas Tech’s defensive coach stepped down today.
Was the guy in blue at the end the reporter in question?
Will we see this on ESPN?
Good for Coach Gundy - I like to see a coach take up for his players.

I HAVEN'T READ THE ARTICLE, but from what I've heard... She might have had a point about the QB who just lost his job, (attitude problem), except she had to work in some stuff into it about the kid's mom and chickens, too.
Maybe she was just trying to be clever, but like I said, I haven't read the article.
If BSPN does decide to air it, it’ll probably be a snipet of it rather than the whole thing. YouTube to the rescue again!
Isn't the old saying, "those who can't, write about it" ;^)
Gundy was using psychology to get the guys to play up to their athletic ability.
Remember the last two years he has recruited top 25 players so it dosen’t look to great to have Troy run you out of the stadium.
OSU fans need someone to vent on and what the hey, nothing better than Carlson.
She wrote an article and made some girl mistakes by challenging the 21 year old player Reid's manhood and whether or not he is a mommas boy.
A kid in one my classes was there filming the press conference, and he had some film of everyone getting up and walking around afterwards. Sadly no reaction shot from Carlson, but the rest of the media was priceless.
The Sports Information Director had the best look on his face. He knew his job just got a million times harder. Everyone else was just wondering around like a bomb went off or something.
Boy, that was a bitch slapping. Nice job.
I heard this video on Rush, then looked it up here to see what it was all about. Just read the column, too.
As per the column, the “kid” is 21 years old. He’s a grown man. I have three sons. Even as children, I think they would be more embarressed by the coach’s reaction, talking about a “kid” crying to his mother. The coach may have good intentions, but I suspect he just made matters worse for this young man.
That was some unnecessary roughness on an amateur player. Maybe the reporterette in question thought she’d get away with it because she’s a woman. Good on the coach for fighting back the drive-by media.
I don’t think the entire rant is just about Reid. Some of it was just about how painful it can be to have your kid come home after someone came after you for no reason. If I recall correctly, he has young kids so those would be the ones he knows about.
And the upside for the program as a whole is tremendous. Hopefully this rallies the team together and motivates them. On top of that, kids want to play for him now and parents will no doubt want their kids to play for him. The only downside is the media will likely never be on his side. But this is the Oklahoman we are talking about they wouldn’t have been on OSU’s side regardless.
Fwiw-
She's a typical reporter. Leans left...or I'm Jimmy Hoffa.
That being said...she wasn't far off on some of her statements/assumptions. IMO.....
