It is claimed that this new five dollar bill, with the Abe Lincoln picture, will almost buy a cup of coffee at Starbucks. Personally I will drink a cup of Folgers and put the remainder I have saved in my 401K. I do not even like ths smell in a Starbucks shop.

Time to kill the paper $1 bill. With the golden dollar coin, the paper $1 is a waste of taxpayer money.

They went to zinc to do just that, but even zinc is worth more than a cent nowadays. What’s left, aluminum?

Wampum worked a few years back somewhere along the Hudson river. Some say the island that was procured was worth at least $24.00 in wampum. I sometimes wonder if we should demand the return of our beads.

Methinks the "Amero" is on hold, given the fall of the dollar and the near parity of the Loonie.
