Shouldn’t you have posted this thread in the science forum rather than the news/activism forum?

Hubble will eventually de-orbit and “die” — one can only hope where it will land...

I didn't see a forum for science in the list of forums.
To: JACKRUSSELL
I don’t know what the rules are but I am glad you posted this where I might see it. Beautiful.

I agree these photos look great but they are fake.
All that the hubble telescope gets back is data. The scientists, in order to boost their popularity and budget, add color and enhancements all over the place to manufacture these pleasing images.
But really embellishment is too simple a word for the tampering that is done. None of the colors you see actually exists. Colors are assigned to data sets and patterns found and done in such a way to “market” to the stupid people who believe that this is what is out there. But even if someone took a camera out there light-years away they could never see let alone take these photos.
Genie is out of the bag guys.

Your mind manufactures the colors it does see. All of them. It’s entirely subjective. The colors manufactured by NASA are just as valid in their own way; they just provide your mind with a means of interpreting the objective data in a way that your mind understands.

Only 5,000 to 10,000 years ago, a star familiar to human observers detonated and burned with a brightness comparable to that of a crescent moon an event visible even in broad daylight......To this day, DemonRATS blame this event on George W. Bush and his decision not to sign the Kyoto Protocol.
