Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Wind’s picking up pretty good out there...lights are flickering.
I’m thinkin’ I may take the back way home. My van makes an awfully good sail on the interstate.
Y’all stay safe.
Nope, us papists can do guilt trips all by ourselves. If Hunter is still in on 2-5-08 though, I might be looking to put the ‘touch’ on the HH.
Sounds positive! Got my fingers crossed for ya...
Lights are goin’ blinky blinky in the courtroom. Can’t see outside though.
On a short break now.
I believe Prayers are in order?
Heh, I’m sure you riled quite a few. I didn’t even open that one; guess I’ll have to go look at it now.
Thanks for tip Winmag but I’m planning on trying out the TFO-Tru Glo on the Sig. I’ve got a set of old nite sights on it now, there is still a green glow though it takes near black out conditions to see them anymore.
Evening Corin - pretty good, saw it on yer blog thingy.
I think you once suggested Digipen Institute of Technology for Joseph. He’s just started looking at it, and I wondered if you knew anyone who had attended it, or knew anyone who’s kids had attended. It looks like quite an interesting place. Joseph just hasn’t decided what he wants to do yet, and whatever he decides, he likely won’t be going there for his first year anyway. He’ll likely go to the Univ. of Sou. Miss. on the Gulf Coast and live at home, so he can get a year or two of credits at a lower cost. Digipen is QUITE spendy, so he wants to make sure that it’s worth the money.
Digipen? Dang. Doesn’t ring a bell. I think that must’ve been somebody else you were talking to. Sorry?
That happened a couple times while I was in the dentist chair. Rather unnerving, to say the least. But there haven't been any power fluctuations at all since I got home.
Good news, though, I did not need a root canal, but the filling is pretty deep. And while they were in there digging out the first one, he saw one on the adjacent tooth that hadn't shown up on the x-ray. So we figured while I'm there and novocained up, might as well fill that one too.
Now the novocaine has worn off, and it's pretty sore.
He'd looked into Full Sail, a computer tech school in Winter Park FL, which bills itself as being tied into the entertainment and video gaming industry, but he's gotten some negative feedback from folks who said they'd gone there and didn't find it worthwhile. Of course, anyone can say anthing online, and you'd never know if it's the truth, or just someone trashing the place for their own personal reasons.
They just said on Fox News that conditions are very bad at that bridge over the lake in Seattle, nearly Hurricane like. Watch out folks!
I hear tell the Tacoma Narrows bridge is a little dicey right now, too...dunno about hurricane like, but definitely gusty.
It wasn’t too bad on the way home here, though. And we still have power. Life is good.
Pretty dang calm out there now. I dare say it’s over.
Just waiting for another phone call from Hair, then I’m gonna move the trucks back into the compound and hit the couch.
Unless your in the eye...
Don’t jinx us!
It does seem to have changed over to just rain, though. Yay.
Got any kind of a cold pack? Frozen veggies or ice, wrapped in a dish towel, will really help ease the swelling and pain. LSA
