I was thinking about nanny-state government last week.
God has chosen to run His Kingdom in a way that allows each individual the complete freedom and liberty to make their own choices and take full responsibility for them, up to and including the choice to burn in Hell forever.
Yet, it seems as if OUR government presumes itself more righteous, because it forces people to wear motorcycle helmets, fasten their seatbelts, and cut the trans fats.
The contrast could hardly be more stark.
“Freedom” unfortunatly, is limited only to those with enough money and power to force their ideas of freedom onto other people.
We’re all free to do as we please. As long as it doesn’t interfere with government dictates.
Ironically, the freedoms we have in this country allow the knotheads in Disneyland East to behave the way they do. They see no conflict with this.
