Ah. An unplanned Treasure Hunt! Any “treasure” worth keeping?
When redhead and I were growing up, we never lost any library books. The reason was because we read them too fast. We cleaned out the Children’s library before we entered our ‘teens, and had to get permission from our parents to use the “adult” library. Now THAT opened up a whole new world!!
Matchbox cars, puzzle pieces, math worksheets that they’d insisted were complete ...
My kids read their books very quickly, but we can’t get them returned to the library immediately.
