It’s 87, here.
And, as is usual, lots of people don’t know how to drive on wet pavement. It rains so seldom, that the oil rises above the water, and it makes the roads super slick. Folks forget about that, and drive like idiots.
Insurance companies LOVE this time of year! LOL!

I don't think that applies to this kind of radar.
In any event, it just stopped misting. The one good thing with this several days' rain is that our fire danger is likely to be considerably reduced.

Our fire danger won’t be so bad if this keeps up. Of course, it seldom rains over the entire valley at any one time, so parts may be low in fire danger, and other parts high.
If no homes or other buildings are in the path of the fire, though, the inclination is to let the fires burn out on their own.

fwiw, about a dozen of us here in "the DC metro area" went down to Arlington National Cemetery this morning at nine AM to counter-protest the WIERDOS, who arrived with "RED cindy" sheehan at ANC & then marched on the Capitol. (WHAT a BUNCH of LOSERS, nitwits, ANTI-semites & fruitcakes!!!!)
i HAD to LAUGH, as one of the "guys on the other side" was wearing a (near "tea length") tan pleated SKIRT! (one of our ladies said he frequently is "in" skirts.)
