We’re doomed, it’s over. I’ll never bother to vote again.
Bump for later read
LOL. I would not go that far if I were you. If our constitution with the bill of rights, and minus some of the obnoxious amendments such as the income tax, and #17 were to be the model that the elites want for global government, then I could probably live with that. (But if you have firearms, I would keep them handy just in case). LOL.
thought you might be interested in this article, if you haven’t already seen it.
No one ever gets my sarcasm. I’ll have to stop.
your sarcasm made me laugh.
Why?
No offense.
None taken. You posted an artile about the Ottowa meeting last year.
oops. artile=article.
I apologize.
I hadn’t checked the link.
I posted and pinged it last year because the meeting was held in Ottawa. (Canada ping)
The mods at the time didn’t like the subject.
They kept moving it to chat.
;-)
Interesting that they moved it. I was wondering why I had not seen anyone posting, because I used to read about it here a lot. Except for one source, I had not heard of this group, CFR, or Trilateral commission before I started lurking at Free Republic during the Toons impeachment.
Before that the only mention I got of it was Phyllis Schlafly’s book documenting behind the scenes story of previous Republican conventions. That book had a small section about the King makers and mentioned the group that met in Georgia.
Of course the MSM at that time always treated her like a loony as well as Goldwater. Now we find out that the group really does exist. So naturally I became interested. I found out more info here and more conveniently during the 1990’s than anywhere else (that was before the lawsuit and back when entire articles could be posted).
Just because a person is interested and curious about this group does not mean that a person subscribes to all the conspiracy theories. But I find it astonishing that such elites can meet with such a media blackout, and that more people here are not curious about these meetings.
I just now noticed that they changed the topic to conspiracy. The Dallas Morning News classified this as nation/world, so I chose the topic foreign affairs, but they have changed it.
I thought this Dallas paper was a relatively mainstream source of news and not some nut ball conspiracy publication. The article itself is not peddling any conspiracy theories other than to acknowledge that there are those who do set forward such theories.
Thank you for the ping.
The article I posted last week about the meeting was also taken out of the topic of “News” and reclassified as “conspiracy”.
I am sure that does not mean anything at all or hold any significance in regards to how FR feels about this issue or these groups.
Folks should not draw any conclusions based on that.
you are welcome. I just thought it very interesting that the elites had an interest in federalism USA style. Maybe even a positve note - but who knows?
“I thought this Dallas paper was a relatively mainstream source of news and not some nut ball conspiracy publication.”
It is the primary newspaper in DFW. ...and before I am attacked yes there is the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, but it is bleeding subscribers faster than DMN is.
Well I don’t know about Gov. Goodhair. Maybe because he is from Texas, and Texas has a right to secede? Maybe Bush told them he was an expert? Whooooooooooo knows? Not I.LOL.
