Actually this list itself ain't bad, it's just most of the songs that are [deleted]. But not all, of course -- there's plenty of yacht rock to love. And who better to rank these tunes than VH1? There must be some holdovers from before the celebreality pox. Tomorrow night, Video Hits 1 will air their televised countdown of the Top 40 soft rock tunes, but go ahead and take a gander now and see if they hit the Marx.

Say what you will about this list, but we're with #1 (love us some Chris Cross). Also, whatever happened to the Yacht Rock guys? Weren't they developing something for VH1? Maybe they'll talk about it when it airs tomorrow. Too bad we won't be watching.
all your faves PING
I’m Hooked on a Feeling right now.
BTW were are the big hair "soft rock songs"? I didn't see many of those.
Please, go all the way.
Millee, I bet if we could see your old cassette and LP collection it would be a different story!
The others should be played on a loop at Gitmo to coerce information from reluctant AlQuadians.
pissant your still the one
I think power ballads are a category unto themselves.
muskraat love
I think You Light Up my Life by itself would kill them off.
So my current cd collection has most of those beauties. Happy now???
I can tolerate about . . . three of these tunes.
34. Dan Hill - “Sometimes When We Touch”
25. Anne Murray - “You Needed Me”
20. Captain & Tennille - “Do That To Me One More Time”
16. Bread - “Baby Im - A Want You”
Some good stuff.
This list should come with an arm’s-length shotgun.
And we’re still having fun.
Cum on feel the . . . eh . . . badness.
There’s a great new infomercial where you can by all of these and more on a Time/Life collection. ;o)
Oh yeah, hosted by Air Supply.
ick.
