Its time for the fans of Jericho to rally and save a really good show.

Jericho is one of the best new shows in a long time. It is one of the few shows on television that our whole family made an effort to get together and watch. It has a very good cast playing very good characters and an exciting story line that keeps you on the edge of your seat. CBS has made a huge mistake by not renewing Jericho. Hopefully CBS will reconsider. If not another network should have the insight to pick up this wonderful show.

Spread the word and lets save Jericho.

FanOfJericho Save Jericho Now! NUTS

Everyone can show that they love Jericho by sending CBS one package of NUTS... here's the address to send them to...

CBS Television Network attn: Kelly Kahl 51 West 52nd Street New York, New York 10019

SEND IT IN... We can bring it back. When Roswell was cancelled they sent Tabasco Sauce and it came back for two more seasons!!!

I figured. 'Jericho' is implying that the US was behind the 9/11 attacks.

It was up against 'Idol' and stood no chance.

I’m big on nuclear fiction... so I stopped watching the show after radiation was dealt with in one episode. It was rain that they all hid from in a mine shaft that after they emerged wasn’t a problem. The teenage romance (sex) took up more time on the show than fallout. Sheeple in this country make me kinda sick, but then they’ll die off with it hits the fan so more food and surviving women for me.

How about we march around it a few times and then blow trumpets instead?

I watched a couple of episodes, as I figured that a nuclear attack would make for some darn compelling high-tension drama.

Instead I saw some soap-opera drivel intermingeled with moon-bat paranoia mixed together by a dull cast and crew of writers that had zero clue about nuclear warfare realities.

I can’t get those three hours back from my life, but I can say ‘good riddance’ to that junk.

If you want to watch some cool nuclear war drama, check out "Threads", made by the BBC in the mid 80s.

The complete movie is posted on Google Video.

It's a real upper. Enjoy!

“Threads” didn’t have the big budget, but it was better overall. It kept the human story focused on one couple, rather than spreading it out like “The Day After” did.

(By my rough memory) I did like the artsy nuke explosions in “The Day After”, and how they showed farmers being asked to scrape off all their topsoil due to fallout.

Never forget about “The Day After” - ABC hired a bunch of extras to take part in an anti-nuke protest the day of/after the movie aired - and then sent out their news department to cover it.

I forced myself to watch the entire first season, hoping against hopelessness that the show would get better. I watched some of the second season, hoping that they’d figured out just how stupid the show had become and maybe inserted some realism into it instead of the sheer stupidity that permeated every episode. Nope. Still sucked. Jericho deserved its fate. Great premise - terrible execution.
