OK, and being drunk and eating a burger is bad why?

I can’t watch the video here at work.

But Germans Love David Hasselhoff, and Germans love to drink beer and eat meat.

I did not realize eating a burger while drunk was a crime. I would think 97.9% of Americans would be behind bars if that were so.
