Thanks for your thread. I appreciated it. the FDA ‘s handling of this is appalling!that we have no regulations re pet food and monitoring of ALL foodstuffs that come into this country is outrageous!

I think we are looking at the tip of an iceberg here. Fact is Menu Foods is in Canada and Canada doesn't have the regulations we have -- plus Menu put out on their own website not to announce in the USA after they knew they had a problem.

I did read in another article that Nutro has decided to bring their manufacturing plant back into the USA and either purchase or build a facility.

Why do you rely on the government to protect you ? Is there anything the government does well ?

Stop relying on processed foods and you’ll be just fine - human or animal foods included.

Make your own pizza, macaroni & cheese, etc, and you’ll have a lot less to worry about not to mention it’s a whole lot healthier.
