Whew! I'm glad you didn't have to wait till Friday for Wednesday! She would have come home when she got hungry.

Lobo is a favorite comic book character of mine. Hopelessly irrelevant. Brilliantly violent. It appeals to my baser instincts. ;-)
It also scares the sheeple...

Looks like a guy that could kinda grow on ya. I had no idea that comics were relevant today. I thought they were all too PC to be entertaining. Where is that one sold?

She's limping a little, like she might have hurt a front paw getting over the fence. She is a *large* cat, and well on in middle age.
We'll make a trip to the vet next week if it doesn't get better. I was wanting to buy more diet cat-nibble and have her weighed, anyway.

She might have a sprain, though that isn't common in cats. With her weight, it could be any number of things. Especially if she has been "sedentary" for any length of time. Poor baby. I hope she gets better soon.

It could just be a bruise, or damage to a claw. I guess she just went over the fence by instinct!

I'm sure. If she hasn't done any climbing recently, she may have pulled a muscle. I'm sure she'll be OK. Once she gets used to being back inside again...;o]

She's gone to sleep in the corner. I don't think her night outdoors was very restful!

It isn't any more. You can still find issues at Half Priced Books though.
Dark Horse comics, and a couple others like Vertigo, put out some seriously interesting stuff. Definitely not the type of stuff I would approve of my school aged children reading.

I would suspect her night out on the town was pretty tiring. She's not a sleek young thing any more. LOL! {Picture the cat in the Pepe Le Pew cartoons...)

Ah. Of course. Well, there are a couple of used book stores here, so I'll have to take a look.

LOL! The poor thing is shedding piles of fur from being in a nervous tizzy all night. It was getting to be time to lose the winter coat, anyway.

Maybe you could brush her a little. Or does she like that? It might calm her down, as well as rid her of that itchy hair.
Do you ever give her Vaseline? I give my cats about a fourth of a teaspoonful once a week, to help them pass hairballs. Just rub it on her forelegs, and she will lick it off. I'm sure she is very fastidious.

I have been brushing her, when she comes out from under the table. The humming of the routers and switches seems to comfort her. If she'll just stay there, away from James, I'm sure she'll feel better by this evening. (Open the windows, but keep the door shut!)

To: Tax-chick
Good. Often, cats who have been neglected are afraid of being brushed ~~ the raising of the hand makes them think they will be struck.
It's a comfort for Wednesday, I'm sure, that she has gotten such a loving family. I bet she'll remember her night on the town as something to be avoided in the future!
