Squirrels in Cuesta Park have attacked at least 20 people since last spring. Hayley had to get a tetanus shot.

By the first dawn the squirrels had taken more than a hundred. Hard for me to count but more than a hundred. I don't know how many squirrels. Maybe a thousand. I do know they averaged six men an hour. All kinds -- reds, grays, foxes. All kinds.

I live near this park and took my daughter squirrel chasing the (just doing our part). We put up a scare squirrel and threw pine cons at a couple of them. It was fun. Our behavior is probably technically illegal.
Now to the political part. There is a RANGER posted there on the weekends, and she goes and tells people not to eat nearby and lectures & browbeats people about squirrel behavior and feeding the squirrels. This is preposterous that tax dollars would be going to pay for such largesse.
