MANCHESTER A 19-year-old man accidentally killed himself Monday night while playing a game of Russian roulette with a .357 magnum revolver.
Anthony Santiago Cadiz Jr. of Manchester was at the home of a friend at 250 East High St. when he whirled the cylinder on the handgun and pulled the trigger, sending a bullet into his head.
His father, Anthony Santiago Cadiz Sr., said his son had called him an hour earlier to say he wanted to talk to him and would be coming over. He waited, but Anthony never showed. Instead, his father received a telephone call telling him of the shooting.

A .357 mag does not send "a bullet into his head", it redeploys the head.
I wouldn't call that "accidental". I would call that stupid.
How come people never "accidentally" kill themselves playing a game of cribbage or monopoly?
I disagree. I think he is the quintessential Darwin Award candidate. The very model for others to emulate. I think he did a bang-up job.
Even in "Clue", with all that violence. Noone gets hurt.
You are right. stupidity is not accidental.
Had he not exited the world at the end of the .357, he would have erased himself in an equally stupid manner some other time. At least this way he didn't take some innocent bystanders with him.

Shooting yourself in the head while participating in a game of Russian roulette does not qualify as accidental. It qualifies as suicide.
A new game. "Clueless". Determine the method of suicide.
His act was perfectly senseless.
Just what I was going to say. It was bound to happen and at least he didn't take anyone else with him.
ROFL!!
That's a bit harsh. Doing Russian Roulette is stupid, yes, but all these "Darwin Award" comments about fellow human creatures who die are in very poor taste (and this is not only because a Creationist, either).
I suggest anyone with an IQ over 40 take a loaded revolver, go outside with a notebook an record the number of cylinder spins you get before BANG!! Hopefully, if they can remember to play the game that way, they will remember to keep the barrel end pointed at the ground.
At least his emotional genetic defect will not be passed down.
"BORED OUT HIS MIND?"
I'll keep that in mind, Jedi Master Pikachu, the next time I'm tempted to make a post that might offend someone.
