Signs of a life-threatening reaction.
These include wheezing;
tightness in the chest;
fever;
itching; bad cough;
blue skin color;
fits; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Changes in thinking clearly and logically.
Too tired or sleepy.
Passing out, fainting, dizziness, or lightheadedness.
Severe nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea.
Any rash.

No it's not far out. As you know there are a couple of us who have come up with theories about undetectable poisons. And if the tox reports find drugs in her system, then this is a possibility. HKS wasn't taking any chances that the drug OD wouldn't kill her. So he adds some undetectable poison to make sure. And as everybody was saying at the beginning she had a fever, fat lips, and possibly some of those other symptoms.
Yesterday someone said that they'd ordered lots of ice from the Hard Rock. Maybe there was no real fever, but they were putting up the cover story and the ice request was the evidence to support that.
