He’s always been a party boy. You should see the drunken Christmas tree vid on youtube.

Janeane Garofalo on 24? Unless her character is executed in the first 24 seconds, I will not watch

There was a preview of the new season of 24 last night during the World Series. It looks much better than I expected. Lot's of action.
The trailer says "CTU is gone". There's no sign of Chloe or any other familiar face, except Jack. "He's on his own."
And the big twist: Tony Almeida is alive--and he's a bad guy. Or so it seems.

Lame. This show jumped the shark by bringing Tony back.

I'm wondering what plausible excuse they'll have for Tony being alive.
An evil twin? :)

Interesting. That was not what I was expecting. And I agree. Better than what I expected. They got my attention. Guess we’ll see :)
Thanks!

Ah!! My ears are ringing. I can live with the Tony’s gone evil twist.....at least we get to see him for another season.
Maybe they will also have Bionic Michelle.

It wouldn;t show me the trailer but I did read this.. Set in Washington, DC, Day 7 opens with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER (Kiefer Sutherland) on trial. Bauers day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA (Carlos Bernard) returns. Meanwhile, President ALLISON TAYLOR (Cherry Jones) leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN (Bob Gunton) and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR (Colm Feore). A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including Agent JANIS GOLD (Janeane Garofalo), Agent RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching), Agent LARRY MOSS (Jeffrey Nordling), Agent SEAN HILLINGER (Rhys Coiro) and security specialist MICHAEL LATHAM (John Billingsley). Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE OBRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub) and BILL BUCHANAN (James Morrison) are back for another momentous day of shocking events. All I can say is ACK! Hope it's better than it sounds! Also did you see the part about 24 is fighting climate change? If Al Gore comes on the show, it's over for me!! :)

24 season 7 trailer out!
"So help me God I will kill you, and you will stay dead this time!"
And Jack Bauer means it! Season seven of Fox's 24 has been cooking for a long time now; the last new episode of the thriller aired (let's check our calendars) way back in May
of 2007. Thanks a lot, writers strike!
Things get back on course early next year, and season seven--barring any nuclear threats from terrorist sleeper cells--is due to kick off in January (producers actually used the time off to improve the show, they said). To prepare for the series' return, Fox has released a two-minute long trailer (watch it here on TV.com -
http://www.tv.com/video/15353/season-seven-trailer ), and it's full of what 24 fans have come to expect--explosions, guns, guns, guns, split-screen trickery, espionage, and Jack Bauer screaming at dudes.
Producers haven't been keeping details on season seven top-secret. We know that season seven takes place in Washington D.C., features a new female president (played by Cherry Jones), and sees Jack Bauer not working with the CTU for the first time.
Don't forget that seasons six and seven will be bridged by 24: Redemption, a special made-for-television movie that airs November 23.

PS: Will there be a new thread?
No matter what I do I cannot get any results searching for “24”, 24, Season 7, or any other combo of possibilities. No quick search. No archives. I’m in General chat when I search. Don’t know what else to do.
I’m only here because I saved this last season thread in favorites. Please let me know if there’s a way to find “24” discussions and/or the new season thread. Thanks.
