I'm not sure, because I've only seen the clips, but I *think* he's talking about Rosie calling Miss USA a crack addict.

The Miss Universe Pageants Inc, or whatever he and his partner call themselves, fired Miss Nevada USA today for some porn-type photos. Trump's partner did the announcing, so The Donald evidently only handles certain "pet projects," such as a reigning Miss USA.

This afternoon, one of the tab TV shows had on a former Miss USA, Shanna Moakler, commenting on it. LOL, I don't recall what she said, I have just been transfixed by looking into her dead, dead eyes ever since I first saw her on Dancing with the Stars. There is no one home there. No one. Not one living thing.

Matt Drudge threatened to sue Bill O'Reilly for the same thing, after Bill joked about Matt doing crack on Don Imus' show.

What's crazy is that O'Reilly complains vehemently that you can say anything about a celebrity and get away with it. Slander doesn't apply, somehow... But Bill did it himself to Matt Drudge!

Another problem Trump will have: courts looks very dis-favorably on vindictive lawsuits.

If his claim is mainly motivated by personal grudges, then he won't have a prayer. His tough-talking speech completely screwed up his chances (in my layman's understanding of law).

I wasn't sure I agreed with Trump giving Miss USA a "second chance", since she clearly violated the rules of her contract, but he owns "Miss Universe", so if he wants to keep someone on, that's his choice.

HOWEVER, he has now set a precedent, and it will become much harder to enforce the rules. Subsequent rule-breakers will point to his treatment of Tara Conner (sp?), and my guess is that the lawsuits will be forthcoming if his treatment of others is different. I will be interested to see what happens with Miss Nevada's case, now that she has been "fired".
