It looks like we are coming into another target rich environment. We should pass 4 teams in the next 11 days and a 5th team in less than a month.

Bump to jump . . . over five more!

I will be back down to about 850-900 points per day on average before Monday. It was fun while it lasted.

Back down here where mere mortals fold. ;-)

Glad to see that the trials of long haul haven't brought you down.

Been missing your handsome face on the threads.

May be able to pull another Borg-a-thon on the week after Thanksgiving.

I can always hope.

We just passed #62 and just bumped over 15,000,000 points.

Quite a change from when we started!

Fantastic. Are the DUmmies even trying any longer?

Folding truly represents the difference between conservatives and liberals.

Conservatives give freely of themselves (and will encourage others). We want things to be better so we willingly give of ourselves.

Liberals also want things to be better (however their view of better is scary). So they willing give of others (raise taxes), and normally do not give of themselves (with few exceptions).

I will listen to how compassionate liberals are when they actually give of themselves (You DUmmies had better start folding if you want an audiance).

anyone else not able to fetch new work packets? I finished one yesterday and haven't been able to get a new work packet in probably 18 hours. Any ideas?

I had a system unable to connect to a server last week. I restarted the system, still could not connect.

I ended up deleting the directory and reinstalling on that system. Not my favorite way to do it, but it worked.

Okay--tried folding a while back, computer so very not happy with the program. Got new graphics card and a spiffy 400w power supply with dual fans last week--trying it again. So far, been folding for about 20 minutes and no problems yet. Last time it shut my comp down in about 2 minutes (and that was with the non-graphical client)

Hoping I can help!

I normally set the F@H console to fold at 50% - 70%, depending on the age of the machine. All of my personal (home) systems fold at 100% and never give any problems, because they know what's good for them and don't want to disappoint me.

The graphics card normally doesn't affect folding very much. A good power supply will certainly help. Always blow the dust out with canned air when ever the cover comes off a system. Of course, looking around my computer room, every single system I have at the house is wide open with no lids or sides.

You have given new life to your systems, for not very much money. Those are the best upgrades for most systems to extend their lives for a couple of years.

Look forward to seeing your points come in!

Lids ?? Sides ?? What are those? Must be some sort of new hi-tech gizmo that just came out.
