But I freaking LOVE IT. And you will, too.
The singer is Aussie star Beccy Cole and the song is in response to some of her (former) fans who have, as moonbats often do, taken extreme exception to her support of the Australian troops who are fighting in the Iraq war.

Beccy Cole - "Poster Girl" on the Wrong Side of the World
http://www.blackfive.net/main/2006/10/beccy_cole_post.html
OHH ADDDD remember that singer well she has new music video if you didn't knowwww
"Poster Girl" was written when Beccy returned from entertaining the troops in the Middle East over the Christmas and New Year period and found a letter from a fan who didn't agree with Australia's participation in the war. Beccy has previously commented .
"I have a huge amount of respect for our forces and I'm very proud of the great job they are doing over there. Our job was to provide an entertaining break from their gruelling routine and from all reports, we succeeded.
I'm happy to report that morale is high amongst the Aussies and if their hard work and commitment is anything to go by, peace in the Middle East is achievable"

They were on Larry King,
1) Natalie looks like a duck with a bad collagen lip job.
2) It turns out they got only one death threat and the guy was never arrested.
3) I doubt any three of them have any college degrees yet they somehow become qualified to discussed the President's intelligence.
Dude, this woman is awesome. Definitely going have to check her out. Beauty and guts. Love it
Who are the Dixie Chicks ? LOL
Saw this earlier today.. this woman deserves a big BTTT...
and for us Freepers to support her music!
I'm from Dixie and I don't know anyone by that name. Dixie Chicks?,,,,,, No nothing comes to mind.
God Bless Beccy and the Diggers. They are the good guys.
" This is a lady who GETS it."
Last Christmas, Beccy went to Iraq to entertain Australian and allied troops.

I think it is worth pointing out that Australia ultimately decorated the Australian entertainers who went to Vietnam to entertain our troops - they were awarded the Vietnam Logistics and Support Medal. These people make a real contribution and it must be honoured and respected. The same medal was also awarded to some people who went to Vietnam to provide canteens for troops, QANTAS air and cabin crew who ensured our travelling troops travelled as comfortably as possible, civilian doctors and nurses.
I think it's important for civilians to know that they can make a real contribution to the defence of civilisation. There's lots of ways to do it.
