So far the only thing I've encountered is my theme wasn't compatible and was disabled. I remedied that by going into aoubt:config and disabling extension compatibility checks. Only problem with the theme I'm using is the address field in my navigation bar is a little whacked. I can live with it until the final release.
The spell checker is awesome! Very exiting! It will help out here on FR two. ;^)

Yeah, but doing that with an installed extension is a pain in the a**.

Re: compatibility checks - are you referring to the string "extensions.disabledObsolete"? I set the value to "false" in the hope of getting my "Noia" theme back, but no luck. Any suggestions?

There's a file called install.rdf inside each extension/theme's .jar file. Inside THAT is a tag labeled maxVersion, with the maximum Firefox version that extension is installable on.

There are extensions and themes neglected by their authors, or those that aren't updated for the new release the second it's made available. Themes in particular were far more difficult to update than extensions during the transition from 1.0 to 1.5, since the entire file structure inside a theme's .jar file was changed around.

I set the extensions.checkCompatibility to false and my noia is doing fine, except for the address field. Undo what you did, and make that setting and you should be good to go.

I had to create a new boolean string with the name "extensions.checkCompatibility" as none existed. I set the value to "false", exited and relaunched the browser, and my "Noia" theme is back! The address bar is slightly distorted, but I can live with it. Thanks, guys.

"The address bar is slightly distorted"I'm getting the same thing. This view will be normal for me later tonight after some Guinness :P

I was told by my computer man that Firefox does automatic updates. He said that while I am online (dial-up), Firefox sends updates to my computer. Is this true?
I know that Windows will do updates because they tell me when they do it. But Firefox has never told me when they do automatic updates.
Thanks for info about this.

I set the extensions.checkCompatibility to false Excellent! Worked great for me. A couple of my extensions seem slightly borked in appearance, but otherwise work fine.
