I wouldn't say that. I think it was well covered in the news.

First there was Condi's trip to Mexico followed by the meeting in Crawford and both events were covered extensively.

The problem is that the kooks are trying to weave a sinister, conspiracy to destroy America theory.

The reality is that it simply gives the US some degree of authority over what and who enters Canada and Mexico. And this will give added ability to control what and who enters the US from Mexico and Canada.
