ZOT! Liberals are Planning to Hack Voting Machines

Some professors at Princeton University have posted a video on YouTube showing how to hack into the Diebold voting machines that are supposed to be used in 40% of the elections this fall. On Democratic Underground they're talking about how to steal cards just like the voting machines use from Diebold laundry machines used in laundromats, and then reprogram them to change the votes on the voting machines.

I guess anybody can volunteer to be an election judge, and with the instructions that are being given out it only takes a few seconds to completely change the votes around without any record of it being done. Just when you though it was getting so the liberals couldn't screw things up anymore, they come up with something like this!

I wonder how many of these machines/operating system combinations are still in use since Deibold upgraded them. My guess is extremely few, and likely in heavily democrat areas anyway.

My spidey sense isn't tingling this time so I'll reserve judgement.

Make sure they are plugged in and turned on or it won't work.

In Maryland they finally have those separate cards to check what is in the machines if the need arises.
JUST A WARNING - BE SURE YOU SEE THE VOTING JUDGE PUT IT INTO THE SECONDARY BOX.
It's very easy for them to just pocket it.

I always like the punch card system
If you did not punch a hole you did not vote.
That was until Florida and the prescient judges there.

Make sure they are plugged in and turned on or it won't work. But Karl Rove and Dick Cheney are gonna coordinate a "brownout" on election night. This will throw every Diebold machine into a straight Republican ticket. Right?

I still have the original IBM punch cards from the sixties used to change the program.
I wonder how much democrats would bid if I put them on EBAY?

I wonder how much democrats would bid if I put them on EBAY? Advertise them as "Diebold reprogramming cards" and see if any DUmmies bite.
Remember, every dollar you take from a DUmmie is a dollar that some DIM candidate won't be getting!!

"I have the fill in the oval type of ballot that is optically scanned."
My grandmother, who had Parkinson's, would not have succeeded. Even a punch card gave her problems. That is why they allow someone to help senior's (I guess).
Of course, marking a view screen with Parkinson's is no easy feat either (I should imagine).

I'm an election official in Virginia and I've been trained on the Diebold equipment. Unless you have a crooked election official, chances are pretty slim of anything being screwed up.

I worked as a network technician for Diebold in Harris Co., GA during the '04 primaries, and I'll second that. It'll take more than one or two sniveling subversives to put the hurts to a machine. Way too many crosschecks and safeguards in place. And that was two years ago.
