"Come and take it!"

LOL.

But, seriously, I'll see what I can do. (It's my favorite label design EVER!)

Just how far does that go?

I would have said that I've never been too far in that direction, but then I remembered the one time I tried a Samuel Adams Triple Bock.

That was too much. I kept trying to like it, I wanted to like it, but I couldn't. It was like trying to drink steak sauce.

I had Sammy's triple bock twice in the mid nineties (I know cuz I kept the bottles) and I really liked it, but I just can't justify paying so much for such a tiny little bottle of beer. I'm not THAT much of a beer snob.

A couple of months ago I bought a big bottle of Sammy's chocolate bock and it tasted like a Hershey's candy bar. I didn't like it.

"Yuengling Lager is the best IMHO."

It's certainly among the best.

When my cousin was in college, his roommate had a brother who ran a microbrewery.

he called the beer "Old Goat Piss"

I've never liked meals in a bottle or beer so thick you don't need a glass to pour it into.

Just looking for an alcohol delivery system without all that bothersome flavor?

No, if I wanted a burst of confused flavors, I'd eat the berries, potatoes or popcorn they blend with the hops by themselves, it tastes better. I don't drink beer anymore, even the smallest amount gives me headaches

Sorry to hear about the headaches. That's gotta suck.

I don't want to give the impression that I'm an uberbeirsnob. I just think that most American megabrews are more mass-produced hype than flavor. I prefer a good, well made, traditional beer. I'll give you this: too many microbrews make absolutely crazy stuff with some of the goofiest names imaginable. I wish they would just make good beer with a name that you can say in public without feeling like you just loudly ordered the "Rooty-Tooty Fresh and Fruity" breakfast at IHOP.

Like Robert Earl Keene once said: "Gosh, I haven't had a Schlitz beer since elementary school!"
