Just heard on local sports radio that Jack Elway will follow in his dad's footsteps and make his first start at QB for Cherry Creek high school vs. Denver Montbello this evening.

I always feel a little sad when a son tries to follow in a famous and successful athletic father. Very seldon do they ever measure up. I notice Joe Montana is transferring his 2 high school age sons from Cardinal Newman in Santa Rosa, CA., a school not known as a football power to De La Salle, in the east bay, which has one of the great high school football programs in the US. I am sure the sons will be in the spotlight and under a lot of pressure to live up to their famous father.
