There is no way this prosecutor would have gone after Karr if she had not checked out where he was during the night of the murder. The first thing a prosecutor does is check out the time line. If he was somewhere else he could not have done the crime. I think the prosecutor has him in Boulder and not in Alabama.
When the prosecutor is not talking, you can figure she has her case bound up tight. Why would a Prosecutor take the chance on a ruined reputation for indicting a crazy man based on his crazy confession? No attorney is that dumb. She would be out their saying .... we are just investigating ... or ... He is just a person of interest. etc.
The prosecutor is committed. I think that says she has an open and shut case... otherwise she is one dumb prosecutor.

We have a great DA here. He announces who they have and what the case is....mentioning the victim. He never gives tip offs as to what the evidence unless it was visible at the time of the arrest. The next speech comes when the guy has been processed and ready for indictment. We get the news of the indictment.
Let's be patient. I think it's the guy and that they have been doing "underground" on this case for a long time. The little arrogant beast "got caught" by his own cleverness.

Does anyone know WHEN the following home invasion happened? Before or after the murder? If before, then this could very well have been the time that Mrs. Ramsey's notepaper was taken and the note written before the murder.

Tator check this out.....FOund it on a blog....Is this our guy? Might explain the income.
Here is an interesting link to a book review. The book is written by John Karr in 2001 and is titled Dark Resurrection. It is described as being something between Coma and Hannibal the Cannibal. This entire thing is wierd, but the strangeness of the book reminded me of the strange ransom note left at the Ramseys. I would like to read the book to compare writting styles.
