I do not know the abbreviations, or the format, or the people who are constantly logged in.

I wasn't trying to offend you. I'm simply trying to offer some friendly advice.

You'll notice I refrained from calling a "ZOT", calling you a "troll", etc.

It seemed like a good place to share some issues that bother me

And that it is, if done correctly. Vanities, as I stated earlier, should be posted under "General/Chat".

The "News" section is reserved for just that - news. Irregardless of the merits of your opinions on a particular subject, un-sourced personal diatribes do not meet the definition of "news".

Laws getting passed without a vote from "We the people" also get my goat, but that's another issue.

And would be a good topic for discussion, if done correctly. I can think of two ways to do this:

1.) Post your thoughts to General/Chat for discussion.

2.) Use Google News to search for a news article which pertains to a topic you wish to discuss. Post the article to News/Activism. You may then post your thoughts/comments in response to the article.

I think a troll would apply to someone who knows better and not a first timer.

Rules for posting can be found by clicking "Help", at the top right of the FR page.

Posting Guidelines

They apply to everyone, newbies and veterans of FR alike.

Thanks...I don't think I meant for that response for you. I have noticed when I click on reply, someone elses name will appear in the To: field. In a haste, I probably just sent the message off....Thanks again for the info
