What was the statement they just made about Kyle Turley? Implying he has "shrunk" in size???

Didn't catch that comment.
Giants are winning 14-0 though.
KC is getting creamed by the penalties. Herm's not going to be happy.

What's the deal with Fox's yellow buttons in the middle of their scoreboard banner to indicate what quarter it is? What was wrong with using numbers?

Is it to early to predict the Giants will start 5-2, only to drop to 5-7 and then make a nail-biting run on the edge of playoff contention for the rest of the season, just to lose game 16 in a blowout?
I only say this because they seem to like that script...

A few nice drives and a few miscues...sounds like Giants football to me. ;)
Seriously though, so far so good.

Eli and team looked really good. Backups are playing well too. Let's hope for a great season.

Pre-season games, win or lose, are of no consequence (unless you have money on the game). Get to take a look at new players, new schemes ... aside from that it's pretty much just a dress rehearsal. Last year, as I recall, the Colts lost all their preseason games and went on to a undefeated regular season.

The game was on at the restaurant where I was eating here in San Diego. So, its the second half and the Giants QB throws an incomplete pass. A middle-aged man stops to watch and grumbles "Grr, MANNING!" I guess some people don't understand the concept of a preseason game.

Don't think Eli even played at all in the second half, did he? Maybe that was your point...I'm a little tired tonight, lol.

Yeah, that was my point. I don't know who the QB was, but he was scruffy-faced and didn't even look like Eli. Oh well, clueless people make life more entertaining (except for liberal goofballs of course).
