I'll never understand why they acted so creepy and suspicious in the beginning :(
Maybe the answer to that question will tell us why.
Thanks! Creepy is the word.
As someone who believed the evidence lead to the Ramseys, I need to admit that I was wrong. It certainly looks like they were quite innocent.
I didn't think they acted creepy and suspicious at all.
The cops and the media had them tried and convicted within weeks.
"I'll never understand why they acted so creepy and suspicious in the beginning"
They really didn't. I followed the case pretty closely.
They replayed the video tonight where Patsy seems to be on tranquilizers, and she breaks down at the end telling people in Boulder to hold their babies close because there's someone out there. Makes you really want to cry now.
And the Boulder police gave their citizens the "all clear" as far as a sex pervert/murderer being on the loose.
That's really a crime.
Maybe it was because they knew that they would be prime suspects from the beginning. I for one am sorry about the remarks I have made about her parents.
Neither will I. But this isn't over yet. The man must have his day in court. Sounds as though he has been in trouble with children before.
Watch out! I've been raked over the coals here for pointing out that the Ramseys' behavior in dodging and evading the cops is what got them roasted in the media.
re: 2
I agree. Her parents acted plenty creepy.
Well gosh, maybe they acted "creepy" because their daughter was murdered?
Sounds like you still blame them, regardless.
Only a creepy person who had them convicted would think that. Let me know how you would act when your child was murdered and every stranger in the country was calling you guilty. The were smart to get lawyers. They knew that the great unwashed would call them guilty.
Who is they and how are you supposed to act?
My theory: I thought that an intruder came in while they were at the party and waited for everyone to go to bed. Then he took and killed JonBenet. Patsy found the body and assumed that one of the sons, or husband, had done it, so wrote the kidnap letter to throw suspicion away from her family to try to protect them while they all were still asleep. (But one of the polygraphs allegedly showed she knew nothing about who wrote the letter. Oh, well...)
