without fact checking.
Simply calling the defense attorneys would have raised doubts about Nifong's account (the players had alibis).
Who in the world would run a cover story based on the accusation of a stripper--without even checking first to see if there might be another side to things?

The players (and I actually mean this sincerely) would have gotten a fairer shake from the National Inquirer.
Absolutely. They had the highest percentage of correct info during OJ than any other publication of any kind.
