I dunno. I've never seen so many blinded eyes as in this case. The Attorney General, the Governor, the judges, the District Attorney's office, the entire media, the IRS,the Federal investigators and local law enforcement people -- have all ignored the obvious corruption. Of coure, may of those are part of the corruption, aren't they?
"I've never seen so many blinded eyes as in this case."
You know, the elephant in the room is that they're white preppie students, making it un-PC to defend them. Otherwise with all the info we have about Durham, Gonzales would already be there holding a press conference, the Federal Grand jury would have been called, witnesses would be parading in to testify, the media would be hinting about who might be offered immunity,
and there would be clusters of TV reporters gathered outside the homes of a good many of Durham's most prominent citizens, harassing them for comments.
But none of those noble folk want to be seen to be on the side of the most despised class in America today--the rich white kid (unless that kid is a Kennedy, in which case an exception will be made).
If you think that rich white kids are privileged, you're wrong. Change ANY of the parameters of their ethnicity/class, and they would have a much, much better chance at getting justice; they just happen to have lucked out.
