This child is wearing a night-gown - I recognize the shiny fabric, ubiquitous to nightwear and usually polyester - probably from Wal-Mart, K-Mart or Target. The picture appears to have been taken surreptiously, at very close range, perhaps with a cell-phone camera. One would hope that this would indicate that there is someone nearby who would not want him to take a picture of the child.

Her head appears to be on a clean white pillow, and the blanket appears to be a girl's blanket (pink trim), something that most predators would not keep at crime scene two, unless it was taken from the scene of crime scene one during kidnapping. If the child was at crime scene two the child would probably be awake and distressed, or appear to have taken injury even if unconcious...

I pray that this might indicate that this child, at the time of photo, was in her own enviroment and under the protection of an another responsible - albeit unaware - adult...

I also pray that she remained there, unharmed.

Excellent observations. She doesn't appear to be distressed, does she? Hopefully it was just a photo that jazzed this sicko and nothing more sinister was involved. This story was aired on local news earlier, so maybe with more exposure someone will come forward with an id.
