Am I getting paranoid?(My Vent/Rant of the Day)
Myself

Posted on 07/19/2006 7:56:33 AM PDT by Merta

OK, I've searched a lot online. Have you ever looked at the little pop-up flash games and poll ideas, I've just noticed how Liberal they are.

I know that this sounds simple but how come there is a flash game of whack the mole showing up in the middle of nowhere with President Bush as the mole, how come I saw a little poll slider asking me the question on approval ratings and getting a new i-pod tune, and seeing President Bush and three monkeys, representing see no evil, hear no evil.

How come there was a slot machine that I saw to get free gas, with Bush in the Blame Bush pose, and two gasoline things, and then a flash game to bounce a "oil fat cat" on one end of the swing with all of this money.

Somehow I think about Ayn Rand talking about businessmen being like the Jews in Nazi Germany. Even my Email has to have a slight political lead in getting a million dollars from the government, slightly but subtle political ads appearing on TV, I guess that since Liberals want to stress that they are Expression purists, they want to put graffiti everywhere so that every normal person, no matter who has to be brainwashed in a tone to hate President Bush, it is not even iconoclastic and funny, it borderlines on propaganda.

Ever since my switch to politics a few years ago, I've realized how political the guys who whine about whatever Bush is doing is political are hypocrites. Except for maybe Michael Medved, looking at my good TLA film and video guide, it is interesting how a movie gets such bad ratings because it isn't PC like Disclosure because Hollywood's first movie on sexual harrassment isn't about a harrassed girl in truth and a sexist man, it is about a manipulative woman.

Also notice how the ratings for Lost City became, and for movies like The Green Berets. I think that it is true that you become what you judge, but I guess you can say my point is, I feel I need to vent about this, maybe you have had similar experiences. This is not intending to be a vanity thread, but I really needed to talk to someone about this, and considering how I accessed the Internet to talk to Conservatives, sort of a rare species here, I decided to vent. OK, that is my venting of the day.

Am I the only one who is sick and tired of seeing politics everywhere, that Liberals have this very bizzare obsession about Bush.

There's a new internet based travel agency that has some pretty clear bias. I think it's Kayak.com. One of their ads says "Discover Alaska.....before the oil companies do."

As the old sixties saying goes ...

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean someone isn't out to get you.

It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you.

Oy, the reason why so many people are moderate in America is because they hate politics being shoved in their faces everyday. I guess that whoever did that commercial is laughing it up. And Liberals wonder about the polls, after all if all of this bias by the Media, Hollywood and everywhere else was gone, the approval rating would stand. I disagree with that.

I love that quote, it is possibly one of the better ones. There was also an interpretation of paranoia being someone who knows the truth or something in the notes to the album, Quadrophenia, by The Who.

when answering a poll question, answer as if you were a lib..........after novermber, when they get trounced again, they will whine, cry, scratch their heads, and say " the polls showed us ahead, what went wrong". then we can sit back and enjoy the show

What is funny about those poll things and the like, is I feel a hidden scam, I mean why would some pop-up organization out of nowhere care what I think about politics, especially one so heavily biased, and how can you actually get free gas? That is the funny thing, it is like that tabloid on Condi Rice, and Laura Bush, and the President. It is hard to take someone's politics seriously, when it is hard to take the mag or person seriously, themselves.
