Soccer will never catch on here -- boring, fake injury theatrics, scoring is ultra-rare, and too many tie games.
Today, the English Premier League, which formed in 1992 with the backing of Rupert Murdochs satellite TV channel, is the biggest money circuit in all of soccer, with the most fans around the world.
In fact, that's why the only form of soccer I follow regularly is the Barclays Premiership in England, probably the best professional soccer league on Earth. Premier League games tend to be pretty exciting to watch and 0-0 ties are actually not that common in Premier League games.
