Here are some pictures of the wholesale destruction of some Tokarevs and Makarovs in Estonia. If you are a collector, you may get upset.
TOPICS: Hobbies; Military/Veterans
KEYWORDS: guns; handguns; makarov; pistols; tokarev
These look new still wrapped in paper and cosmoline. Some look rough from being trashed in the crates, but don't they realize how much they could make reselling at least the parts from those?

Zarqawi is reported dead, and so my mood lifted.
Then you posted this, and now I'm depressed again.

but don't they realize how much they could make reselling at least the parts from those? Yes, but they discovered that the AK-47s and Uzis sold better and had a better profit margin.

Right now, I look at it this way... those are guns that won't be being fired at our guys in Iraq and Iran... which is where they might likely wind up given the world condition. Now if they were guns in the US of A and were being destroyed by our government as "nuisances" I would not hold the same opinion.

Double depressed now as can't have pistols or women.
What a shame about the guns - the girls are fine I'm sure.
