Personally, i think it is even more simple than that. I think that this POS was drunk, and the Durham LEO who was first on the scene canceled an ambulance, as he was just going to put her in the drunk tank for the night. She didn't want to do that so she cried, "rape". This story is obscene beyond all comprehension, Mike Nifong is a criminal himself for doing what he has done (see gloating Greta interview on election night to confirm).

Also, there are so many stories coming so fast that the basic facts are being buried. The Kroger security guard statement, the 911 LEO call, the neighbor's account, the cab driver (now in trouble himself), Nifong letting Skank #2 off the hook for her probation violation, and the 3 week delay in identifying the three boys out of the lineup of ONLY Duke Lacrosse players.

It took three weeks for an ID. During that time, someone posted the names and financial backgrounds of all the players on a local board. Guess which three players come from the wealthiest families? Whoever put that info out there must be a university employee. Why isn't that person sitting in jail? It stinks just the exact same way that OJ stinks. Who can forget the appalling behaviour of blacks across this country when he got off? I doubt that many white people like myself will ever forget, and I doubt that they can get away with it twice.

This POS has gone from whore to race whore. I understand that her new civil lawyer is the premier race pimp. Black people need to understand it won't fly a second time.

"Black people need to understand it won't fly a second time."

No problem. When these things cease to fly, cry 'racism' and point out all the cases where there really were victims. Juan Williams is a master at it.

That post....is an example of the reason FR is a fantastic place.

Did you hear Hugh Hewitt refer to the "Coastwatchers at FreeRepublic?" Old media just doesn't know how to deal with new media's ability to expose their propaganda/lies.

Did this involve a bit of identity theft? If a University employee, he should have at least been fired. Confidentiality of such information is expected.

FWIW, I just saw two shows on ESPN where no less than 6 reporters commented on this.

All 6 thought it was a bad move on the part of the women's team to wear these, and most of the 6 also called for either Duke or the NCAA to forbid them from doing so.

One reported muttered something about the Duke guys not being innocent because they had been in trouble even before these allegations.

Several thought by wearing these the women were showing disrepect to the AV.

Finally, there was mention of possibly calling for the suspension of the women's team coach for allowing this and for allowing the men's ex-coach to address the women's team.

Glad to hear it. This is their university as well.

This may offend some, but I can remember when I was in school (many years ago) you always had to watch out for the "townies". Seems like this is the case here.

Raise hell ladies!!!

The liberal faculty would support Stalin over his victims, too. Sad, isn't it?

It seems the Duke womens lacrosse team is showing the Duke faculty how to exhibit some intestinal fortitude and some sense of right and wrong. Too bad most faculty probably won't get the message.

Good for them. I read this earlier and said I am pulling for Duke (Lacrosse team, not the school)

I had read something about their coach earlier in the week. Can't emember what I read only that I had a very good impression of her.

Cool! One of the girls is from Skaneateles--her father played Lacrosse for SU.

I hope it is televised.

I have 3 lax players in my family. Hats off to the Duke women's lax team. Innocent until proven guilty, eh?

>>The women don't wear the helmets since it's a non contact sport for women. Kind of like no checking hockey.

Exactly, beat me to it. It's a much more genteel sport than Men's LAX.

Do we have a list of the 88? Supposedly it was from an ad in the student newspaper? Is there an online

We really need to start a list of those from whom an apology must be demanded, when this plays out.

We're doing that already, although not in the way you intended. The case was Tawana Brawley, and victims were the white guys accused, especially Pagones.

The parallels are just astounding. I think that's why we haven't seen Al Sharpton on this. He sniffed around for a couple days, got the sense of what was happening, and bolted home in a cloud of dust.

The school has no objection. The sweatbands will be on the players arms and legs.
