They insulted Reba. That'll get you banned from mainstream country radio all by itself.

Anyone hear from Willie Nelson after his brokeback - gay cowboy love song?
Talk about a singer that simply vanished...
How'd that all work out for him?

What a shame, having to live with the consequences of their actions.

The first single, "Not Ready to Make Nice," only peaked at No. 36 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chartHeh.
I guess the radio stations are not ready to make nice, either.

Reap what you sow. If you're going to bite the hand that feeds you, you better be prepared to get smacked by it.

But I saw where ABC is giving them a "Special".

I don't think the Dixie Chicks are owed any respect whatever.

As an official Texan, I hear by proclaim the Dixie Pricks excommunicated from their Texas hertiage.
They are up for grabs, you can have'em.
To: NCjim
I would sure pull my ads from any radio station which played their stuff.

I don't want to buy your music
I don't want to hear you sing...anywhere
I don't want to hear you period
I don't even want to download your stuff for free
There are thousands of people far more talented than you ever were.
They would give anything just to have their music heard.

And what's funny about is that these bimbos have no idea what they are saying. They are only mouthing lines given to them by some NY publicist.

I wish the Dixie Chicks luck in their new genre, Pop music. Country fans have voted them out. I'm predicting a name change for this group...The Yankee Egg-Layers".

Hehehehehehehehehe!
Gotta love that.
Where are all the DU/Kos/moveon moonbat music buyers at?
May be time for The Bimbo Chicks to page George Soros.
A bit of the old Soros trick of bulk buying anything Anti-American or anti-Bush might just come in handy here.

Who are the Dixie Chicks?
To: NCjim
I dont think they have even played it once here on the country stations in New Mexico. Which is fine with me since I have never liked their music even before they decided to play political stupidity.
The only song of their's I can even think of is "Kill Earl" or something like that which I only heard once and changed the station because I felt it was offensive.

Shortly before the Dixie Chicks made their comments about President Bush, my husband and I had just started listening to their music and loved it. We just loved their sound. Thank goodness we didn't spend any money on their music before their comments. As much as we would like to go back and find all their music and even listen to their new music, we simply won't. I've never seen a more blatant case of "Shut Up and Sing" in my life. They have surely lost millions.
