This kinda ticks me off too, even though i couldn't care less about Britney. I guess I just think it is bad to falsely accuse people of being bad parents like the media is trying.

1. Car seat - I've noticed that most articles say "some organization recommend rear-facing". Well, which is it? Anyway, I've noticed that the majority of people around town with babies have front facing car seats.

2. Fall from high chair - from what I read this was an equipment malfunction

3. Trip - umm people trip, you know. It happens.

You left off #4.

4. Singing to her Baby. Now how do you explain away that kind of abuse?

I have been told that if a child is younger than one year old or weighs less than twenty pounds, the car seat should be installed rear-facing.

The person who installed our car seat told me that most car seats are not properly installed.

It happened to my oldest daughter when she was about this child's age. She was buckled in properly and I removed the tray to get her out and she leaned forward as soon as I did. The buckle gave way and Pow, she landed right on her head on the kitchen floor. I had a complete meltdown and checked that child's pupils and constantly poked at her every time she even hinted at napping for two straight days. Accidents happen.
