Does evidence mean anything to a jury which has already made up its mind, and is determined to lynch the accused?

(I can't think of a case which is a better of example of a need for a change of venue--like to Alaska, for example (where nobody cares about the race of the accused or the supposed victim, and race won't get in the way of a fair trial);

but unfortunately Durham is so screwed up I am even dubious that the judge in the case will permit a change of venue of any kind (even if it's only to another jurisdiction in NC).

I think the accused deserve a jury of their peers....their peers are not the townfolk of Durham , NC.....

I can't even see this thing going to trial, and despite all the MSM musings about what the DA "has" I say he has nothing....nothing at all....at least, I can't imagine him having anything substantial unles the other stripper had a video running or one of the young men did and something DID happen.....

this is America, yet this kind of prosecutorial witch hunt goes on uninhibited....
