OK, GUYS, LET'S S ROLL!!
I thought Maybe a good way to begin tonight's discussions would be for us to share about some of the best pranks and jokes that we either played on someone,(or someone played on us) when we were younger(or nowadays, for that matter)
Also, we could share about some of the crazy things we used to do, when we were younger(or perhaps still do) that were seen as fun at the time, but look foolhardy to us today.
I'll start things off, and share about one thing I did about 20 years or so ago, when I was 18-19. I would go on little "scenic routes" as I used to call them. (keep in mind that in 1986-87 gas was WAY less than $1.00 a gallon). Now, I did not just drive around aimlessly, but I had a friend named Paul with me. And Paul was a LOT more daring than I!! while I drove, Paul tossed bottles, cans, eggs and fireworks out of the car, mainly at road signs, but also at a few mailboxes. I egged him on, and thought it was a LOT of fun!! Paul conned me into believing that I was not doing anything wrong, since I was "just driving". (I just have to chalk that up to youthful stupidity...) In reality, I would had been the ONLY one to get into trouble had we been caught, because PAUL WAS ON HOUSE ARREST at the time, for a B&E that he and some others had been involved in , AND he was only 17!! SO, had we gotten caught,(and in early '87 we ALMOST did!!) I would had gotten the book thrown at me, for vandalism, littering, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and who knows what else!!
I'll reserve the stories about me messing with gunpowder, acid, gasoline,lighter fluid and fireworks for another time!!! (He....He... He..)
SO... Does anyone else care to share anything(that the statue of limitations has expired on !!) LOL!!

The sad thing is, I met a BEAUTIFUL woman (and a fellow alumnus of the U of Chicago) just a month before my move. We're going to the Tulip Festival tomorrow as part of my last hurrah on this side of the country.

Hmmm, jokes...
Well, a couple years ago, I was working in a printing plant as a technician when one of the maintenance crewmen told me to fetch a can of blanket stretcher from the shops. This ensued into a chase all over the production floor.
I didn't learn until late in the shift that blanket stretcher doesn't really exist--but it was a good break from downpiling books...

I'll be in and out tonight. I have to get the final preparations finished for the stuff I am taking to the swap meet tomorrow, (I have been working on things all week, but you know how it is... Time is running out, and I STILL have a lot to do, and LITTLE time to do it in!!)
I hope to make $500-900 tomorrow, I have already made $35, and maybe $200 more, BEFOERE I LEAVE THE HOUSE!!
My dining room looks like a '70's audio store right now!!
(My mother has been patient and not complaining too much about all of the audio stuff in here, as she hopes I make some money too!!)

Hi, RCA!
I do have a prank I played at work, that almost backfired on me.
At the time, I was a secretary to three young executives, and had to collect their resumes for a national convention in Las Vegas. Two of them provided me with theirs, but the third dragged his feet, so as a joke I made up an outrageous one in which he had worked as an "escort" for middle aged women and been a male stripper prior to working in real estate. He chuckled but never gave me a revised one.
Well, I forgot all about it, and when it came time to submit the resumes to Corporate HQ for posting ON A PUBLIC COMPUTER in our booth in Las Vegas, I sent his phony one along with the other two. Luckily, I remembered it at the last minute and had it pulled.

Daughter is going to hog my computer tonight but I thought I'd add a story that happened several months ago before I have to leave.
Used to date a guy a few doors down, was taking a bath, the phone rang and I could hear him on the answering machine, wasn't going to get out of the bath for that. Pretty soon I hear him pounding on my door which made me pretty mad, if I don't answer the phone, why would I answer the door?
I got out of the bath, dripping wet and angry and yanked the door open, to find him and his roommate standing there!! It wasn't really intended to be a practical joke per se but I felt like the joke was on me. He did too judging by his bent over laughing fit. (I hate when men take one look at me naked and grab their stomach in fits of laughter).
