That reminds of an episode of the old Dick Van Dyke Show from the 60's. Some guy committed a crime and Rob witnessed the crook running from the scene. The cops asked him how tall the guy was. Rob says, "Oh, about four feet tall". The cop says, "Four feet tall!!!????" Rob looks at him and says, "Yeah, he was kinda crouched down while he was running."
