Well, the fact that she's a bag of bones might be because she's full of rounds (and tapes too, prolly) - thus the bloated tummy.
You don't happen to have dewormers around do ya?
Nope... she may be wormy, but I also think she's pregnant.
I just think her belly is too big for it to be just worms...though that would really be the best scenario, sad as it would be. She's so thin and so tiny that I'd worry about her trying to have kittens. Poor little thing...
She really has a gorgeous face - it doesn't really show up in that picture. And she's very gentle and friendly.
Do you need to borrow a small carrier or anything?
I have a few things I'd like to bring over for her in the morning if that's OK...
Well, ecurbh's not happy about this prospect, money-wise, but tomorrow I'll take her to the vet and get her checked over.
And then we'll give the kittens to Ruthy as a housewarming present. :~D

I just can't take her to a shelter, they're about to be inundated with spring kittens, if they aren't already.
The phrase "spring kittens", however, conjures an image of bouncing hyperactivity that may not be too far off the mark..."they're extra springy this year!"

She's OK - She's closed off from the others for the moment, and I have a feeling the back bedroom will become her nursery.
The small animal clinic was jammed today, but I have an appointment tomorrow morning. That's OK, she's been eating, her poo looks good, and I don't think birth is immediate. I want to get her on some higher power food, some canned kitten food at least, today.
