I'm a Christian, and I don't think there's anything to worry about. Interesting story. Did you actually see him?
I remember thinking so, but it was a little confusing, because he was wearing the hat I had in my hands.
As a Christian I'm not sure what to think about 'ghosts' and hauntings.
Although I've heard, and seen, unexplainable things too- how does the idea of a persons soul trapped in a location work with what we are taught? That upon death your soul goes to either glory or damnation upon judgement? Are these people not judged by God and their souls directed accordingly?
Are are even the most benign ghosts the images of the dead being used by other forces?
My aunt owned a two-story home in which someone-she was told- was killed. She just used the upstairs for storage. There was a room her devoted dogs would NOT follow her into. Footsteps and the sound of furniture falling and being dragged also emanated from that room and went throughout the house. We could hear and FEEL the noise downstairs. Many times visitors ran upstairs, disbelieving that it was empty, when they heard the running and furniture dragging noises. All of which stopped when anyone went upstairs.
So how DO we make sense of such things as Christians?
