According to what Holloway's friends have told authorities, the blond-haired, blue-eyed van Cromvoirt was seen with their classmate after she left van der Sloot - the pals say they saw them in the Holiday Inn casino together. But when the casino's video surveillance tapes were turned over to police, investigators could find no sign of Holloway and van Cromvoirt, the source noted.
Van Cromvoirt's father is the security expert in charge of video surveillance at the hotel.
Aruban authorities are also scrutinizing a surveillance tape taken earlier on May 30 that shows Holloway arguing with a light-haired young man in a jewelry store in the Wyndham Hotel, according to the source.
They're trying to determine if the man is van Cromvoirt.
A source said police records indicate that "Natalee told her mom and others she was in love with a blond-haired, blue-eyed Dutch kid."
Holloway's mother assumed the youth was van der Sloot, though he has darker hair.

Natalee falls for GVC early in the trip. JvdS sees Nat with GVC... maybe the 2 Aruban stud muffins had a little contest between them?
Last night on the island, GVC wants Nat to spend it with him. GVC gets peed off when she blows him off, saying she wants to be with her friends. Basically rebuffing him. There is the argument on tape...Maybe she/he had a tiff earlier and she wanted to distance herself from him.
She heads off with friends but Nat gets a bit tipsy and lets the Aruba night get to her. JvdS is waiting in the dark and takes advantage, like any good stud muffin would do.
JvdS leaves with Nat, GVC sees this, since he is close by and is really peed now. He feels stood up and shamed by another Aruban stud muffin and waits for her to return. Time passes and he gets more peed... waiting...waiting...
GVC knows of JvdS' reputation this further stokes him. When he sees her come back with GVC, he is 10 miles high with a jealous rage and confronts Nat in the hotel. Coincidentally, what shows next on tape is lost or covered up by the dad to protect his son.
Maybe GVC's dad even helped to hide the body..???

BTW, since JvdS' dad was a judge and GVC' dad was involved with security, did they know each other well from past dealings?
It does seem like GVC and van der Sloot colluded for some reason. They need to get something out of Steve Croes, since his discredited story seems to have given an alibi for both boys.
Van der Sloot's attorney claimed his client does not even know GVC. That seems like an easy thing to discredit if it's a lie. With so little factual evidence out there for the media to rehash, I would imagine that is going to be a tidbit of information that will very quickly be focused on and either proven or disproven.

Seems a bit hard to swallow that on a small island loaded with stud muffin wanna-bees, that these two guys never crossed paths..
I was from a small resort town of about 50,000 as a teen and I knew most (not all though) of the stud muffins who chased the vacationers...
These guys may not have been personally been friends, but they sure knew of each other...u can bet on that...
BTW, the other 2 who were detained early on were security guards? If so, this smells more like a cover up than u can ever imagine...

When my daughter was in H.S. and college she and her friends knew every intimate detail of each othere's lives.
Almost seems that Nat was a bit of a loner. The fact that she went off alone with Joran and the Kalpoes is odd to me. Heck, most girls, and women ,for that matter, don't even go to the restroom alone.
Her mom said it didn't happen.
interesting, isn' it, that Joran and the Kalpo Bros set up the two black security guards, while the security company owner's kid (may have) set up Joran and the Kalpo's .. fairly circular, wouldn't you say?

I've always thought that the kids on the trip were not telling the whole story. Maybe they have been more forthcoming with Natalees parents and LE.

I was 100% convinced that Joran was guilty until I saw him interviewed. Unlike Scott Peterson, he wasn't cocky or smarmy. I wanted to despise the kid but couldn't.
This new dutch kid arrested didn't give Natalee this date rape drug, it was the other kid whose known for exactly doing this to young ladies. There are lots of questions now with this new kid coming into the picture.
