Congratulations! I hope yours has been spared the ugly stick. Is it new new, or new to you new?
New to me new, but it was built in '95 and is in great shape. After I close I only have a few tweaks to make (get rid of some wallpaper and do a couple of minor drywall pathes) and I'll be happy. My boys don't know what to think - we are going from 1300 sqft to 2400 sqft and their rooms are another half bigger than their rooms they have now.
In addition, we used to live in a kind of rural, secluded area and we will be moving into a development with a large lake, 5 smaller fishing lakes, pool, intramural sports, etc., etc. I think it will be good for all of us.
