Your tag line always cracks me up!
My personal experience, I tried Trim Spa last year (has Hoodia in it) and I didn't care for it. It have mild/moderate digestive problems and the Trim Spa really aggravated them for some reason. If I had been losing gobs of weight I may have toughed it out, but it didn't really seem to do much for me. It may work great for others, but I wasn't impressed.

I had read that what is sold as hoodia here is synthetic, as south africa doesn't allow the export of the actual plant. The article was warning people about it.
other than that, I know nothing about it. If you try it , let us know if it works!

No, that's the stuff she used. It was from a plant in Africa. So far they can't find anything wrong with it but then you wonder why they haven't flooded the market with advertising.

My problem is sweets. I inherited that from my bean-pole mother who ate dessert for supper most nights. The woman had fruit gelatin as the salad, homemade cinnamon rolls as the bread, sweet potato casserole with brown sugar and pecans for one vege and lots of sweet tea for company meals.
She single handedly kept Dixie Crystals Sugar in business. She also was built like a 10 year old boy most of her life.
However, I got my Patriachal grannie's genes which means I can store fat lower and quicker than a McDonalds deep fryer.
ANYHOW, I have to find ways to satisfy my sweet tooth AND get all my veges etc. So it's lots of sugar sub, lots of fruit, lots of flavors with my meals. And if I can't resist it, I don't even have it in the house.
Plus one cookie at night (I was mugged by girl scouts on the way home....really)

I was thinking of changing my tagline. Now I'm not. Glad you like it!
The best thing I ever used was diet pills with ephedrin. I started taking it after giving birth to one of my kids and I lost about 50 pounds in a very short time. I was working out 5 days a week as well. I'd take it again if I could get my hands on it.

I get these news emails from a thyroid group which is testing one of the Hoodia products and they liked it. Came from iherb.com. I'll go back and find the name of the particular one they like if anybody wants it.

Hmmmm.
Man, med induced. Seems unfair.
Do you work out with weights at all? I'm sure you know that muscle burns more calories than fat. Also, (especially) as a woman, it's important for you to do weight bearing exercises too. Walking is excellent.
For some people, it's really hard to lose weight in the winter. If you live in a place where the winters are cold, your body is hard-wired to hang onto "insulation".
I'm going to say again that I think your problem may be not enough calories.

She single handedly kept Dixie Crystals Sugar in business.LOL!! That is my dad. He is a sweet-a-holic. He was a chubby kid. Then he went into the Marines and got slim. Somehow he was able to maintain it until just a few years ago when he put on maybe 25-35 pounds.
I've always loved fruit, it's the vegetables I have to work at getting in to my menu. For some reason that's always been tough for me.

My weight gain was med-induced as well. Pain in the butt (literally!)
