It's show time! The F1 season kicks off with the Bahrain GP this weekend, the first race for the new V8 rules package. This season should have many interesting twists and turns, as teams wrestle with new cars, a new engine formula, the return of tire changes during the race, and the new "knock out" qualifying format.
Bahrain will be American Scott Speed's debut as a team driver, and Red Bull gave him something to remember, throwing a huge "Arabian Nights" party Thursday night to unveil the team livery for Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso

Michael Schumacher equalled the late Ayrton Sennas record for pole positions when he took his 65th here in Bahrain this afternoon during Formula One racings first knockout qualifying session.Excellent.
Is this Michael's last year racing or just a rumor?

Pardon my ignorance, I am out of touch with F-1 today.
I followed the era of Jackie Stewart, Mario Andretti and Nikki Lauda for years and then lost touch
Are there any American drivers or ones upcoming to look for these days
