One of Norway's male athletes at the Winter Olympics in Torino lost his concentration after matching racy photos from a woman with one of his own.
The athlete received a series of increasingly immodest photos from a woman via mobile phone, newspaper Dagbladet reports.
"Unfortunately he did something stupid. He answered with a similar photo. Not exactly a bright move," the athlete's trainer told the newspaper.
The trouble started when the woman suddenly said she was offended by the picture and reportedly contacted various media offering to sell the nude photo of the Olympic star.
"Our man was clearly affected, and found the situation very difficult. The incident probably reduced his Olympic performances, because the strain became immense," the trainer said.
The man's trainer said that they had never offered the woman money to keep the picture private.
"It was never an option. We just told her what the consequences would be if the photo became public," he said.

I don't have many rules in my life, but one of them is that I never send pictures of my mr. Johnson to strangers before I compete in the olympics...

Never send a woman a photo of you in the buff.... something to think about if you don't care to have your private side displayed to the rest of the world. ;-)

Years ago, a young attorney married his high school sweetheart. They honeymooned at the beach and in a very secluded area, each took a nude photo of the other. A couple of decades later, the marriage ended with a messy divorce. The now experienced attorney ran for reelection - he was a local circuit court judge. The bitter ex gave her copy of his nude photo to his rival in the race. The rival in turn gave it to our local paper. The rest is history - the attorney lost reelection.

When I was a foreman and telling both male and female employees to knock off the flirting, there was always at least one male to say he didn't mind. This is a prime example of why I always told them that I didn't care if they "minded" or not. I didn't want to be the one signing a pinkslip because one of the couple suddenly decided to be offended.

NEVER DO ANYTHING YOU WOULDN'T WANT YOUR MOM TO SEE ON THE INTERNETWhat a silly admonition!
If this were true people would never court, get married, go on honeymoons, procreate children...
Never "photograph or record" is an entirely different matter...
